April — Conception
In contemplating redundancy, I started to explore what kind of company I would want to create and how it would represent itself. It needed to be a reflection of how I think.
Thoughtful Cow was conceived and an initial logo created.
May — June — This Title is Intentionally Left Blank
I chose to remain in enployment and Thoughtful Cow paused. It was far from ready to be born and could have ended here as purely a concept.
July Onward
Thoughts bubbled, the world kept nudging me in various ways with ideas.
Articles were sketched and ideas explored but little was properly written and there was nowhere for these ideas to go.
March — Domains registered
Too many ideas to ignore, and nowhere for them to grow and develop.
I realised I needed to do something to start to bring TC to life.
thoughtful-cow.com and thoughtful-cow.co.uk were registered via Cloudflare.
April — Thoughtful Cow enters the world
A week or two later, I created a very simple single page. This was Thoughtful Cow's "Hello World" moment.
It simply said "Welcome to Thoughtful Cow” in black on a white background.
I linked Cloudflare up to Webflow, established forwarding from .co.uk and published
Thoughtful Cow was born.
